HUNTING AREA Trois-Rivieres & La Perade, Qc
Wild turkey hunting is an interesting opportunity during the spring period. Turkey hunting is often compared to big game hunting experiences as part of the activity takes place during the breeding season and turkeys are more receptive to calls. Wild turkey populations have been on the rise for the past ten years in Quebec due to climate change and less harsh winters. Hunting is permitted from sunrise until noon during the period mentioned.

LGS has access to several good habitat properties where turkeys abound throughout the season. The main hunting area is located east of Trois-Rivières and extends as far as the Portneuf region.
We offer 2 different options for turkey hunting with are guided hunt with complete support or self-guided hunt in complete autonomy.
The guided hunt is supervised by a guide for the duration of the hunt and all the equipment necessary for the hunt is also covered by LGS. We necessarily hunt in tents but it happens that we hunt in a more rudimentary way at the foot of a tree. 2 hunters is needed to book in exclusive group with a guide otherwise you will be paired with other hunters.
The self-guided hunt in complete autonomy is a new product exclusive to LGS in order to offer hunters a chance to hunt on their own without having to buy equipment or in putting lots of time into scouting.
The price of $500 is therefore a fixed amount including hunting equipment (decoys, chairs, slate) and land access established at the time of booking. The hunting period is more than 14 days located between May 7 and May 22.
One of our guide will set field access and discuss a hunting strategy with the group. An outings plan declaration protocol must be respected during the hunting period and a deposit of $700 is required. The deposit fund back when the gear is returned.

It is possible to combine a goose hunt and a turkey hunt from the end of April and May 22nd in Trois-Rivieres Area. Group of 2 hunters is needed to book.
