Big birds, close range shots and big dark flocks landing right on your feet is the adrenaline rush you are looking for! Seeing the guide working the birds on the call and just waiting for the “take em” signal is an excitement that will make you feel alive and that will get you hooked.
The early season starts September 1st and ends September 25 with a daily bag limit of 10 birds / hunter. For conservation reasons, the regulations changed in 2020 and the daily bag limit fell to 3 birds or 2 birds / person between September 26 and October 31. Although from November 1st to the end of the regular season, December 20, the daily bag limit is 5 birds / hunter. The duration of a typical hunt is half a day (1/2 day) and usually takes place in the morning. On the other hand, it is possible to hunt in the afternoon according to your specifications or according to the plan that you have pre-established when booking.
A spring hunting season is added for Canada geese, which takes place on Ontario territory, near Toronto. This extended season was introduced to target resident geese in urban areas between February 25th and March 4th where it is allowed to harvest 10 birds / day / person. The hunting dynamics in this case are completely different from what we are familiar during the migration. We hunt local birds living on the outskirts of the city that have a lower feeding needs. For these reasons, the duration of a hunt is a full day, starting at dawn and ending at sunset.
At the beginning of the season, we start to hunt the northern limit of the agricultural lands of the province, wich is the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean area where we obtain fresh birds that have not yet been subjected to pressure, which allows us to provide the best quality hunts in Eastern Canada. We follow the migration from the north to the south of the province until the end of December. We also have an extended goose hunting season, lasting 7 days during the last week of February in the Toronto area. Most of our hunts take place in fields, but it is also possible to hunt from a boat for a unique experience.
We usually hunt out of “A-Frame” blind, but it is possible to use layout blind if the hunting site requires it.

It is possible to build a package to provide you the experience you are looking for. We can therefore target several species in the same day, for example, goose, duck or snow goose hunting in the morning and woodcock hunting in the afternoon.
